Weimar Republic (1923 - 1938)
After the Inflation some years of growth and stabilisation followed. This period ended with the Black Friday (25. October 1929), which caused the
worst economic crisis in the 20th century. When the Nazis took over the government in 1933 a new area began in Germany that ended in the
catastrophe of WW2.
