Money in general and German money in particular is the focus of the German Money Museum in Frankfurt.

HypoVereinsbank Money Collection
The "HVB Stiftung Geldscheinsammlung" is a charity part of the
HypoVereinsbank Group, which owns
one of the most extensive paper money collections with more than 300.000 pieces. In 1964 the
charity bought the collection (about 120.000 pieces) of Albert Pick - the famous collector and
creator of the "World Paper Money Catalog”.

International Banknote Society (IBNS)
The IBNS was formed in 1961 as a non-profit organization. The IBNS is organized for educational
purposes and in furtherance of such purpose, its objectives are to promote, stimulate and advance
the study and knowledge of world wide bank notes and paper currencies and all matters related
thereto along educational, scientific and historical lines. Currently the IBNS has more than 2,000
members in over 90 countries.
