Occupied territories World War 1

banknotes occupied territories 1914-1918

At the start of World War 1 the German military made advances into the territories of the surrounding enemy countries. For most of the war these regions were occupied and administered by Germany till 1918. After the armistice was agreed the peace conference in Paris sealed a final peace agreement, which freed countries and drew new borders.
