German occupation WW2: Ukraine
Within the Ukraine the German occupier issued their money through the Zentralnotenbank
Ukraine (central bank of Ukraine), which was based in Rowno. The money was called Karbowanez and
was issued from 1942. It was in use within the borders of the Reichskommissariats Ukraine
(the German occupied district of the Ukraine).
