Date: 1985 - The note has never been issued due to the political fear that higher denominations would imply inflationary tendencies. Measures: 16 cm * 7 cm Find out more about the historic background of the period in which this banknote was issued. The front side shows the national symbol of the GDR (hammer, compasses and garland of corn). The watermark repeats the symbol. Back side of the note:
