10 Reichsmark 1945

Issuer: Reichsbankstellen Graz, Linz, Salzburg

Date: 22 January 1929

Measures: 15 cm * 7.5 cm

Information: This bill was issued shortly before the end of WW2 by the branches of the Reichsbank in Graz, Linz and Salzburg in Austria. The bills were valid till August 1945 in the whole area of the Reich.

The design of the bill is similar to the normal 10 Reichsmark banknote from 1929, but it is largely simplified. On the space for the watermark a counterfeit warning (Strafsatz) was printed. The print was carried out via photo-mechanic means by private printers.

The serial number on all of these notes are the same: D 02776733
