The front side shows a portrait of the German architect and constructor Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781-1841).

The watermark repeats the portrait on the front side. The paper is structured with patterns and the number "1000". A seal is pressed in the paper reading "Ausstellungskontrollstempel" - issue control seal.

Back side of the note:

Shows a medal framed by fairies. The medal shows a portrait of a male holding compasses. It is a symbol for architecture.
